Summary :
CreateTT window is suspended when the corresponding alarm is terminated at the same time. It is caused by "Status" caption of problem.status field in WSDL definition for probsummary table in SM.
Problem

CreateTT window is suspended and doesn't show failure message if the corresponding alarm is terminated at the same time.

The problem was detected on environment with TeMIP-SM Liason 2.5.0 (Autumn release) installed.

Steps to reproduce problem:

1. Select one alarm object in Real Time View of TeMIP Client, right-click "Create TT".
2. Open manage session, prepare the terminate command on the same alarm object or clearalarm command in case of Automatic Terminate on Alarm Clearance = True for this OC.
3. Click the "Confirm' button on CreateTT window. Then use fast speed to execute terminate command at Step 2.
4. The CreateTT window will be suspended and no failure message in window output.

Cause

The problem is caused by "Status" caption of problem.status field in WSDL definition for probsummary table in SM.

The following exception occurs in sm_tt_adapter.err file:

Fix
In according to HP TeMIP-SM OSS/J Trouble Ticket Liason Version 2.5 Installation and Configuration guide (3.1.3 Configuring the WSDL):
 
NOTE:
In SM9.x, the Caption of  the field “problem.status” is defined as “Status”, you need to update its Caption as “IMTicketStatus
So to solve problem it's needed:     
  • In according to HP TeMIP-SM OSS/J Trouble Ticket Liason Version 2.5 Installation and Configuration guide (3.1.3 Configuring the WSDL) update Caption of problem.status field as “IMTicketStatus” in WSDL definition for probsummary table in SM.
  • Follow steps in HP TeMIP-SM OSSJ TT Liason V2.5 – SM Liason Adapter System Integration guide 4.2.2 Operation Steps to regenerate library file.
