Is there a way to turn-off the report sending functionality in the BSM Gateway server ?

On thye GW server, edit ..HPBSM\conf\supervisor\nanny\schedulergw.nanny

These are the contents of this file:

enable=1

execution.order=20

procName=schedulergw

service.name=schedulergw

procExePathSolaris=C:/HPBSM/JRE/bin/schedulergw

startSolaris=C:/HPBSM/bin/schedulergw_run.sh

stopSolaris=C:/HPBSM/bin/schedulergw_shutdown.sh

startWin=C:/HPBSM/bin/schedulergw_run.bat

stopWin=C:/HPBSM/bin/schedulergw_shutdown.bat

process.jmx.port=29616

process.html.port=29916

Solution

If you change “enable=1” to “enable=0”, then the schedulergw process won’t start.

Restart the gateway server for the change to take effect.

That should prevent the gateway server from trying to send reports.
